Assembly (Gr.10E) – World β€˜No Tobacco Day’

2023-06-01

Why were the students talking about the disadvantages of smoking and chewing tobacco at school? There is a valid reason for it. The world celebrated ‘No Tobacco Day’ yesterday, 31st May. In view of this the boys of Gr.10E thought it best to put up an assembly related to this, as such awareness campaigns are necessary at school level too. The assembly had relevant messages related to these unhealthy addictions. The theme this year highlighted the message, ‘We need food, not tobacco’, that farmers need to grow more sustainable food products than tobacco. It was a good assembly by the students highlighting the health risks of tobacco usage. Yes, it is always better to be cautious and health conscious for leading a healthy and happy life. An eye-opener and a meaningful assembly, dear boys!
