Mr. Peter Carpenter Head of the School Advisory Board

As a seasoned education professional with over two decades of experience, I've had the privilege of shaping young minds and transforming educational institutions. My journey began as a primary school teacher, where I discovered my passion for nurturing young talent. I later became a Head Teacher of two high-performing schools in northern England, honing my leadership skills and driving academic excellence.

My expertise in school inspection and evaluation led to my appointment as Her Majesty's Inspector of Schools (HMI) and Lead Inspector for Primary Education in Scotland. Additionally, I served as Director of Inspection with the Government of Dubai, where I helped establish school inspection systems across the Emirate, led inspections, and developed the inspection framework to evaluate the performance of both public and private schools.

As Director of Education in The Western Isles of Scotland, I oversaw 30 schools, nurseries, colleges, and children's services, driving strategic initiatives and fostering collaboration. In 2023, I joined North Point Education as Head of the School Advisory Board, where I continue to leverage my expertise to drive academic excellence.

I'm driven by a passion for education and a commitment to empowering students, teachers, and communities. We shall work together to shape the future of education!

Ms. Nicola Walsh Head of Teaching, Learning and Assessments

As a well experienced educator, leader, and schools' evaluator, I bring over 40 years of expertise in the field of education, from working internationally and in the UK. I've held various senior roles, including Headteacher in the UK and Principal of a large regional school in Sri Lanka. I've also worked as an Ofsted inspector and lead inspector for British Schools Overseas, evaluating schools across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe.

My expertise spans curriculum development and implementation, assessment and evaluation, teacher training and development, leadership, and management, and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I've worked with governments, educational institutions, and organisations in numerous countries. As a Senior Teacher for Primary and Early Years with the British Council in Sri Lanka, I made significant changes to the teaching of reading, curriculum provision, and assessment.

As a consultant, I've advised and trained teachers in Cambodia, Egypt, Oman, and Sri Lanka, further expanding my global reach. My passion lies in empowering students, teachers, and institutions to reach their full potential, and I strive to make a lasting impact in the world of education.

Mr. Michael Popinchalk Head of Culture, Vision, and Mission

As an accomplished education professional with a strong background in learning leadership, and a demonstrated history of working effectively with diverse educational institutions across five continents, I bring expertise in developing and implementing American, British, and International K-12 educational models for non-profit and privately owned schools. Possessing a special interest in integrating national curricula with internationally recognized program standards for accreditation, I've had the privilege of serving as Founding Principal for Al Mawakeb School Al Khawaneej (AMSI UAE), successfully opening a new purpose-built campus in Dubai. I coach and nurture internationally minded school leaders and educators, providing support and guidance to private school owners committed to the UAE National Agenda, driving educational excellence and innovation. It’s my pleasure to be associated with NPE in driving educational excellence to its summit.

Ms. Jacquiline Joseph Quality Assurance – Head of Admin

Ms. Jacquiline is a strategic thinker, with 27+ years of experience in the field of education, driving student success and administrative excellence. With a distinctive combination of skills in quality assurance, leadership, and strategic planning, she plays a key role, as Head of Quality Assurance (Admin), at North Point Education. She coordinates the administrative functions of all the schools of NPE, ensuring seamless operations.

Ms. Hussaina Begum Head of Local Advisory Board

As Head of the Local Advisory Board, I'm passionate about driving education excellence. With 23 years of experience, including roles as School Principal, Educational Leadership Consultant, and as Head of Mathematics for over 9 years, I bring expertise in leadership, curriculum development, and teacher training. My vision is to enhance student progress and school effectiveness through innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. I'm committed to embedding AI into our curricula to prepare students for a rapidly evolving world. My goal is to develop well-rounded students enabling them to reach their full potential, achieving academic excellence and personal growth.
