Assembly (Gr.9C) – World Anti Child Labor Day

2023-06-21

Children do their simple daily chores pertaining to themselves in their everyday life, but when it comes to forcefully making them do strenuous work overseeing their age, then it becomes child labor! As the world celebrates Anti Child Labor Day, today, our students of Gr.9C, decided to get across their message, through the morning assembly. It was a well-delivered and well-portrayed assembly with all its segments, a simple skit and messages related to the importance of the day. The students’ determination to make their voices heard, for the benefit of their counterparts who are being exploited around the world, was a touching one. According to the data, today, 160 million children are still engaged in child labor, which is almost one in ten children worldwide. Alarming number indeed! “Considering ourselves lucky, we feel for the children of the world, and we hope and wish for child labor to be eliminated sooner or later.” The theme this year being, ‘Social Justice for All’. The assembly had a wonderful message, as it was ‘children for children’. Well presented!
