Clay Modelling (KG)

2024-02-29

Playing with sensory materials is an integral part of the KG curriculum. You can squish it, poke it, punch it, roll it, pile it, mould it, shape it, flatten it as you please! Clay modelling is a play-based learning which encourages trial and error tactics. Clay play is a multi-sensory hobby, an activity which helps a child’s development in many ways, such as fine motor skills, creativity, aesthetic sense, social, cognitive, and problem-solving skills. Our kindergarteners enjoyed working with clay. “You may create what you please” said the teacher and their hands got busy. What a display of play-dough models!
