International Workers DayΒ 2023

2023-05-01

1st of May is known as ‘May Day’ or ‘International Workers’ Day. ‘World Day for Safety & Health at Work’ is the theme this year, to promote safe, healthy, and decent work environments across the globe. What better way to celebrate this special day at school than by honoring these ‘unsung heroes’, through an assembly conducted by the students of Grade 11A. Our Support Staff are never in the limelight, on the contrary, they render their services quietly and untiringly, behind the scenes. What a dedicated lot they are! This is a day specially to acknowledge workers and their services. The students performed a short skit depicting the respect we have for our Support Staff, as much as we respect everyone else. They are dear to us, for without them the school is incomplete. As a gesture of love and care, gift boxes were distributed to all of them. It was quite a heartwarming assembly. Well done girls!
