The Pink Marathon! The 8th Breast Cancer Awareness Marathon

2025-10-25
The Pink Marathon! The 8th Breast Cancer Awareness Marathon, at Safia Park, Ajman, on 25th October, was hosted by The Royal Academy Ajman, bringing together our school community in solidarity and support. We were honoured to have Mr. Saif Ahmed Mohammed Alabdouli, Licensing and Permits Executive, APEA, as the Chief Guest, along with the distinguished guests from the Ajman Traffic Department, Assistant Rashid Al Shamsi and Assistant Abdeen Hassan. Our school band serenaded the distinguished guests in. The Arabic department added a touch of traditional warmth, the rich UAE cultural elements with a beautifully arranged majlis. All set to begin….! We commenced with the introductory words from our Sport Captain Huda and Rosy highlighting the importance of breast cancer awareness and the impact of our collective efforts. The Principal, Dr. Prema Muralidhar released a bunch of ‘Pink Balloons’ as a sign of ‘Let’s Go’, and off the runners sprinted, students, parents, teachers, and staff all together, cheered on by the bubbly onlookers. The flash mob by the boys took everyone by surprise and they rocked! It was totally a ‘WOW’ morning, making a difference together, supporting those affected by breast cancer. As a community that cares, we continue to spread awareness, showing our support for this important cause.
