Commemoration Day is held every year, on 30th November, to recognize the dedication and sacrifices of the UAE’s military and civilian servicemen and to honor those who lost their lives while serving the country. The flag was hoisted and we, at The Royal Academy School observed a one-minute silence (11:30 am to 11:31 am), in memory of these ‘Brave Hearts’. The KG and the Primary students came to school, dressed as soldiers. The parade of these smartly attired ‘Little Soldiers’ marked the solemnity of this day. How proudly they marched, with their heads held high, as if with all the valor of ‘soldiers on duty!
