Where Pedagogy Met Play.
This session didn’t have slides and silence, on the contrary there was energy, there were voices, and a sense of play. Hosted by The Royal Academy, Ajman, the workshop on ‘Drama in Education’ felt less like training and more like stepping into a living, breathing classroom where ideas were tried, stretched, and reshaped in real time. Attended online by theatre practitioners guiding the way, conversations moved beyond how to teach to how to connect, with imagination, with emotion, and with each other. The experience was technique-based quiet shift in perspective: that learning, at its best, is something students they actually experience.
