World Book Day - Shakespearean Echoes, “All the world is a stage”.

2025-04-23

Shakespearean Echoes, “All the world is a stage”.

Step into the world of Shakespearean magic! Our English Department organised a literary treat, ‘Shakespearean Echo’, on 23rd April, paying tribute to his lasting legacy. Creative activities brought Shakespeare's timeless classics to the forefront. Students’ inner thespians emerged through character re-creations and dramatic roleplays, while artists and wordsmiths through poster making, sonnet recitations, and blog writing. The quiz competition and research paper presentations challenged their scholarly expressions. Through it all, Shakespeare's legacy was honoured, as England's national poet and the ‘Bard of Avon’ or simply ‘the Bard’.
