World Yoga Day

2023-06-23

It was yoga time at school on 21st June, International Yoga Day, with the theme this year, ‘Yoga for the welfare of all, as One World, One Family.’ This day celebrates the ancient practice of yoga and its global significance. Yoga is a way of life which when practiced daily, works wonders for health. The students guided by the teacher performed various yoga poses to enhance their body awareness and mindfulness. Going through a variety of simple yoga poses helps the students in self-discipline and self-control, leading to immense amount of awareness, concentration, and higher levels of consciousness. Be it yoga at school, yoga at home or yoga outdoors, get into the habit of practicing it and feel the calmness and the serene feeling it brings, not just on International Yoga Day, but every day. Let every day be ‘Yoga Day’!
